  • Urethan and Oil Finishes: Care for Your Wood Pieces

To maintain wood finishes, urethan and oil require specific care.

Urethan Finishes: Durable and resistant to scratches, stains, and moisture, urethan finishes create a protective layer suitable for high-traffic areas. Avoid wet items directly on the surface; use coasters and dust regularly.

Oil Finishes: These penetrate deeply, enhancing natural beauty but require more maintenance. Avoid wet items, and periodically reapply oil to prevent loss of luster. Wipe with a dry cloth and refresh every few months, especially in humid conditions.
